A Giant Python Snake with a Length of Six Meters Predators for Livestock Captured by Residents

Giant pythons with a length of six meters were captured by residents in Piondo Village, Toili Subdistrict, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Monday 19 April 2020.

This snake was successfully captured while crossing the road around the residents' homes.

According to residents, these snakes often eat residents' livestock such as chickens, goats and cows.

Before being arrested, residents had long searched for this snake but never found it.

Until finally this snake comes out of its own nest. Residents then arrested without the aid of any tools.

"So at first there was a resident who passed then saw the snake on the side of the road.

After that, the residents immediately called other residents to both catch the snake.

So it happened around eight o'clock at night. Then because it is true that the residents around here have often been eaten by snakes. So that the snake was captured.

Now the snake is at the village chief's house. According to the information, it will be handed over to the animal lover community and then released back to its original habitat in the forest so as not to endanger other residents' livestock, "

At present, this snake that can kill with its turns has been taken to the village head's house to be handed over to snake observers so that it can be released back to its habitat.
