Officials rescue deer from deep agricultural well in southern India's Karnataka
Officials in southern India's Karnataka rescued a deer after it fell inside an agricultural well.
The incident took place in Chinchally village of Chamarajanagar district on May 19.
Visuals showed at least two officials using tubes to float inside the well and tie a rope around the deer.
Next, the deer was pulled out by officials.
According to reports, a team of wildlife officials from Male Mahadeshwara Hills division, fire department officials and locals conducted the rescue.
Officials rushed to the spot after locals spotted the deer struggling inside the well and informed the former.
The deer was released to forest safely.
