Liquor has started pouring in the Philippines' capital region after two months of ban on alcoholic beverages was implemented as part of the coronavirus restrictions.

Footage shows delivery trucks carrying cases of beer entering Caloocan City on May 16, a day after the government has announced that it will ease its ban on some cities in Metro Manila.

Onlooker Cristina Sayo, who can be heard exclaiming at the background, said that she's been waiting for the ban to be lifted so they can have some drinks at home.

She said: "It's been a long time since we have had a drinking session. I do not see the problem in drinking at home."

Three of the biggest cities in Metro Manila have so far lifted their Covid-19 ban on liquor and alcoholic drinks.
