Youtuber Jack Shirley and girlfriend Louise had been together for four years, when on June 23, 2018, he set up a surprise proposal at Hong Kong's Hard Rock Cafe.

Pulling out all the stops, Jack invites Louise's sister to be part of the big surprise and even learns how to sing "Sugar" by Maroon 5 in Louise's native Tagalog language on-stage with a band.

He finally gets down on one knee and asks her, "Will you marry me?" to which Louse jokingly replies, "You b******."

I propose to my girlfriend, she responds "you bastard". After a long and well thought out wedding proposal, I wasn't expecting this response! I learnt to sing Maroon 5 's 'Sugar' in Filipino / Tagalog (my gfs native language) and on what she thought was a normal night out I surprised her by showing up on-stage with a live band to serenade her. She clearly had no idea!
