A fascinating video has emerged of two birds engaging in a mock fight at an animal reserve in northern India's Uttrakhand.

The incident was captured by Deepak Kandwal on May 18 at the Rajaji National Park which is spread across three districts- Haridwar, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal.

Visuals showed one of the birds charging at the other.

The latter manages to evade the attack by hopping.

The action repeats several times.

According to the filmer, he was on his way home when he saw the event unfold.

The incident took place amid the nationwide Covid-19 lockdown which has limited human interaction, thus paving a way for animals to venture out in the open and roam freely.
