Two baby squirrels were found on the side of the road in south India and would have died if this kind vet hadn't helped out.

When Merlin Raj, a vet who lives in Pasingapuram, Tamil Nadu, found two baby squirrels on the side of the road, he decided to take them home.

Footage filmed on May 26 shows Dr. Raj looking after the animals.

Dr. Raj said: "I named these squirrels Aaroo and Aample. I feed them milk using syringes. They hold the syringes, they lick and drink the milk.

"Both squirrels are now good enough to live in the wild but they still roam around my house and it gives me immense pleasure and joy when I see them."

Orphaned squirrel kittens are growing happily in a doctor's home. Merlin Raj a vet doctor lives in Pasingapuram of Madurai district in Tamilnadu. He was once travelling on official duty and found just born two squirrel kittens on the side of the road.
Usually The squirrel kittens will be blind when they are born and later they will develop vision.
Hence they can't able to see things when I took them to my home.
I named these kittens as Aaroo and Aample. I will feed milk to them with syringes it will hold the syringes and it will lick and drink the milk. Both squirrel s are now good enough to live in the outside world but still they roam around my home anyhow it gives me immense pleasure and joy when I see these kittens says the Dr.Raj.
