Shocking aerial photographs show the scale of devastation caused by a huge fire which ripped through a primary school just days before classes were due to resume.

Dozens of firefighters from nine stations rushed to fight the blaze at Harrington Junior School, in Long Eaton, Derbs, which broke out at 12:10pm on Thursday (28/5).

Two firefighters were taken to hospital with minor injuries and the school was evacuated as flames tore though the building and smoke billowed into the skies.
