A hand ferry in Nam Sang Wai marshes, near Yuen Long (Hong Kong)
The Nam Sang Wai wetlands in Yuen Long (Hong Kong) is a precious natural reserve where migrating birds stop. Preserved from exploitation by the government, this area has the peculiarity of seeing one of the last hand drawn ferries in Hong Kong. The footage shows the crossing as well as a general view of the urbanized area of Yuen Long next to which Nam Sang Wai continues to exist.
