Beauticians use protective equipment as salons reopen in designated green and orange zones in India.

Footage filmed on Monday (June 1) in Bengaluru, Karnataka shows a beautician wearing protective gear to treat customers.

Salon owner Aksharaa said: “People should not fear, we are taking all safety measures here. We are sanitizing and disinfecting our parlour properly."

“Workers are taking all safety measures. They are using PPE kits, every parlour should implement this process,” customer Uma Rani said.

In the view of COVID-19 pandemic, Personal protective equipment also known as PPE is very important for individuals working in a beauty salon for their safety and health.

Beauty parlor and salons reopened in several parts of India in green and orange zones. A beauty parlor in Bengaluru, Karnataka is using PPE kits while working. The owner of the beauty parlor Aksharaa is taking all precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.

As per the guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) salons allowed to open in green and orange zones.
