Cops shot tear gas and rubber bullets at peaceful protestors in Santa Monica 5/31

We were peaceful protesting in Santa Monica on Sunday May 31st. As you can see in the video, these protestors are complexity peaceful, ducking for cover due to the assault from the Santa Monica police department.
A lot of protestors had absolutely zero knowledge of SPMD announcing a 4pm curfew this day. The police did not have signs up on Ocean Ave with the updated change (was 6pm but they adjusted it around 3pm to reflect at 4pm).
A lot of protestors have their phones in back backs or their phones died. We were peacefully protesting for hours. The police never made an announcement to the crowd to disperse.
The police fired upon media around 4:05pm. As soon as the tear gas filled up the media section, police started shooting tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd while the media ran for cover.

At the same time the same police department allowed looters to roam the city, burning things down, breaking into stores, and allowing the looters to run free.
The cops turned their aggression on the innocent protestors instead of the actually people causing issues
