A resident named Salmiati in Padang City, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia, accommodates cats that are found stranded on the streets.

Because of caring and love for cats, Salmiati then made a small shelter to keep the street cats in her home located in Villa Fakrisindo III, Limau Manis Selatan Village, Pauh District.

The shelter that was built at Salmiati's house uses funds from community donations that also care for abandoned cats since a year ago.

Until now, the shelter has been inhabited by around 50 domestic-type cats or domestic cats to Persian breeds.

Every day, Salmiati while working looking at the garbage dump to look for stray cats thrown away by their owners, and sometimes if there is a cat that has an accident on the road he helps her to be treated at the shelter.

The shelter is a temporary cat shelter, which will be sought by residents who want to adopt the cat, with conditions imposed, so that later the cat will no longer return to the streets or discarded adoption.

I have loved cats since I was a little child, seeing the condition of cats on abandoned roads could not bear the heart, and therefore also picked up and taken home treated, if dead could be buried properly.
