In a heart-warming incident, a police official sprinted on the railway platform holding his service rifle in one hand and the milk packet to provide milk to a four-month-old kid in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place at Bhopal railway station on May 31.

According to reports, the family along with the baby was travelling to Gorakhpur on a Special Shramik Train from Belgaum and forgot to carry milk for her baby girl.

After feeding her with baby biscuits and water for two days, she was desperate to get her some milk.

At Bhopal station hearing her plea, RPF constable Inder Yadav told her not to worry and dashed out to get some milk.

Following this, he returned with a packet of milk just as the train started moving.

The CCTV footage shows the constable running on the platform trying to keep up with the moving train with milk in his hand.

After reaching Gorakhpur Safia did not forget to thank Inder Yadav.

She sent a video message to him calling him a real-life hero.
