Coronavirus patients perform dance, meditate to revitalize their mind and body in central India
Several patients undergoing Covid-19 treatment at a hospital in central India's Madhya Pradesh performed dance and yoga to break free from the stress and anxiety.
The visual came out of the District hospital in Shivpuri city of the eponymous district on June 2.
The video shows several patients in the isolation ward dancing and indulging in spontaneous yoga sessions to increase immunity.
Sources say the patients are also experiencing new energy, strength and comfort in their recreational activities.
Dancing is preferred simply because it keeps them fit while the music eases mental stress.
The district has a total of 13 coronavirus patients, out of which seven have recovered.
According to Shikha Sharma, one of the patients admitted to the hospital, she is practicing Sahaja Yoga almost every day coupled with daily meditation.
It helps her stay strong and seek stable mental comfort while helping her to recover steadily.
The hospital authorities support such instances as they believe it helps to strengthen the immunity of the patients and is effective in the long run.
