Swinging bridge suspended after Chinese woman falls and breaks her arm
A popular swinging bridge was suspended after a woman fell from it and broke her arm in southern China.
The video, shot in Chongqing on June 2, shows several tourists swinging on a bridge to try to keep their balance.
In another clip, shot on June 3, the woman named Zhang is being interviewed while on her hospital bed.
A worker in the tourist attraction said: "Zhang's injury has nothing to do with us. If you think you are not strong enough to take part in the activity, you can do not join."
According to reports, since Zhang's ticket for the swinging bridge was free of charge and it had a notice on the site, the tourist attraction thought they should not take the responsibility of Zhang's injury.
The swinging bridge opened to the public from the early May and has already been suspended for a safety check. The negotiation work is underway.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
