The Extinction Rebellion dancing hippy
The dancing hippy was a viral hit on Twitter in October 2019 when he was filmed showing the London police his version of interpretive dance. The man who wasn’t speaking coherently later said he was “Trying to show the police that love is real, the world is linked and we are all together in this struggle against climate change”.

Members of Extinction Rebellion gather in central London to protest climate change and to encourage the government to develop more climate friendly policies.
The protests managed to bring central London to a standstill with make-shift roads blocks and tents. The protesters were eventually moved on by the London police after several days of disruption.
