This is the bizarre moment village officers in the Philippines fool around with a huge bucket of water calling it "a new way of disinfecting."

In the video, resident Julius Intrevencion jokingly demonstrates how residents should disinfect after shopping at the market.

Julius had first had his temperature checked and handed his groceries to the guard in Cebu City on May 7.

Then he stepped on a stool and dipped his entire body in a huge bucket of water and disinfecting solution.

Onlooker Jah Borden said that the men were just fooling around in the video.

He said: "We wanted to have fun and entertain ourselves, and also give smiles to people. There are already numerous things happening so let us just be happy and laugh for a moment."
