This is the adorable moment a giant Sulcata tortoise enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with its owner.

Footage was recorded by Toon Natsinee while her husband Somsak Mungmee was taking their pet, named Pee Yuk, for an evening walk in Nakhon Nayok province, central Thailand on May 26.

In the video, the tortoise was slowly following the man to the small alley, being determined to walk with its owner before crawling through the gate back into the house.

Somsak, who is heard talking in the background, said: "We have been raising Pee Yuk like our child, he loves following humans. Pee Yuk knows his name, he knows well when he is called."

The Sulcata tortoise is a species of African spurred tortoise, which is the third-largest species of mainland tortoise in the world. It has become a popular pet because of its tame nature.
