A diver filmed this remarkable encounter with a playful bottlenose dolphin in the Red Sea.

Shachaf Baranes was diving in Eilat in Israel when he encountered the marine mammal in February 2019.

"He was super excited to see us and couldn't stop playing with us," Baranes said.

According to Baranes, the dolphin was semi-wild because although it is cared for and fed at a local "dolphin reef" if has unlimited access to the open ocean.

"They roam in and out as they please," Baranes said.

At that monet, I had a ticket to the greatest show on earth, watching him speeding by us, jumping out the water and squeaking non stop.

These bottlenose dolphins are semi wild, being cared for and fed at the local dolphin Reef but have uninterrupted and unlimited access to the open ocean to roam in and out as they please.

I see them frequently when visiting the area.
