Police in Portland closed roads and told peaceful protesters to go home during demonstrations on June 4.

The clip shows the police allegedly saying “leave now or prepare to be beat”.

The filmer, who followed the protest all day, told Newsflare: "the Portland police made many threats of physical aggression against people trying to make some sort of stand against them peacefully.

"Some of the people behind us were scared and kept their distance while a few people stood closer. Eventually, we were all charged down the street by the officers and their cars."
