Helmet saves biker's life after scooter crashes into truck in eastern China
A helmet saved a biker's life after her scooter crashed into a truck in eastern China.
The dramatic video, filmed in the city of Tongling in Anhui Province on May 28, shows a scooter bumping into a truck after turning a corner as the biker did not slow down in time.
The scooter then fell apart and the woman was thrown onto the ground.
A group of people on a police bus went to rescue the woman and sent her to hospital for treatment.
Thanks to the helmet on her head, the woman named Wu only suffered minor fractures.
Wu did not slow down when turning a corner causing the incident. The case is in further investigation.
