Man dyes dog black and white to make it look like panda in southern China
A man in southern China's Leshan dyed his dog black and white to make it look like a panda.
The video shot on June 6 shows a woman holding a leash attached to dog which looks like a panda.
After the video was posted online, it caused a heated debate.
According to reports, the panda-liked animal is a chow-chow who has been dyed black and white by her owner.
The owner named Yang Yan said his chow-chow named Mei Niu (pretty girl) looks like a panda so he came up with an idea to dye the white chow-chow black and white with natural colouring.
Yang said he bowled the plants with water to make the natural colour, then used it to dye the dog before claiming it is harmless to the animal.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
