Portland Oregon protestors had curfew lifted because they had three days of peaceful protests. They gassed the protestors every night. They did not give people warning or time to leave before they gassed the crowd from three sides. This is me and my boyfriend in downtown Portland, Oregon. We had to run from cops after being targeted for an earlier protest. The cops told everyone they could stay if they didn’t touch the fence. They changed their minds 20 minutes later and declared it an unlawful assembly due to civil unrest. No one became violent with authorities and no one tried to control the crowd. I personally kept people back from the fence. When they declared it an unlawful assembly they immediately began to gas us from the front, back, and side of the crowd. They never gave people a chance to leave. The cops began rioting and circled the city rounding people up into pioneer square for their last attack on the protestors. I had two police cars rev toward me threatening to hit me later that evening.
