Montreal airport completely empty due to COVID-19
Flying from Montreal, Canada to Paris, France on Monday 8 June, we (my girlfriend Maëlys and I) went to the airport earlier fearing long waiting times due to health regulations.
But when we arrived around 6PM, what we found was an airport completely empty. We were the only ones at the security gate and once arrived in the Duty Free area, we realised everything was closed as the video shows.
It was quite a strange feeling to walk in this usually very crowded place and to see only a few persons waiting to board their plane. The only sound you could hear was the music coming out off airport speakers...
