Man has 2ft-long phone charger removed from his bladder in India after inserting it into his penis
A doctor removed a mobile charger cable from a 30-year-old man's bladder during an operation at a private hospital in Guwahati, northeast India.
According to Dr Walliul Islam, the senior general surgeon who conducted the surgery, the man inserted the cable - reportedly two foot - into his urethra while masturbating.
The procedure was carried out on June 5. The video has been shared with the doctor's permission.
The doctor said: "When we did his X ray we were shocked to see a mobile charger cable in his urinary bladder."
The patient had reportedly told hospital staff that he had swallowed a pair of earphones.
He wrote on his Facebook page: [The patient's] mental health remains a question. Surgery was successful and the patient is recovering. Everything is possible on this Earth, indeed."
