Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Hong Kong on Tuesday (June 9) to mark the one year anniversary of the city’s anti-government movement.

9/6/2020 was the 1st anniversary of the social movement currently happening in Hong Kong. Thus, some protestors planned a protest of Hong Kong island starting from the evening, which ended up to be a small-scaled police conflict.

The protestors started from Charter Garden, Central, with more and more joining in during the rally. Some of the protestors urged the crowd to take the road and leave the pavement. In which this video shows the protestors, with a white light/torch in their hand as a sign of identification, responding to the call by action, moving from the pavement onto the road.
