This is the heartwarming moment a local dressed in dinosaur costume was seen offering food donations to a Buddhist monk.

Footage taken by Keng Wattana shows his friend Sahapoom Dokkaew, who was wearing the unusual hazmat suit, putting a bottle of drinking water and a pack of instant noodles in the Buddhist monk's alms bowl in Phuket, southern Thailand.

Sahaphoom said: "I was wearing Blue The Dino when I offered food to the monk. I think it was such a cute costume that makes other people smile and helped to protect myself during the coronavirus pandemic, too."
