An Indian man has invented an ingenious system so that devotees at a Hindu temple can continue to ring a bell without actually touching it and cut the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Nahru Khan installed a sensor beneath the bell at Pashupati Nath temple in Madhya Pradesh which when triggered by visitors powers a motor which then pulls the bell chord.

"I thought there should be a way for devotees to able to ring the bell during the pandemic without touching it," Khan said.

"Devotees are very happy to ring the bell," he added.

With the opening of religious places amid relaxations of Covid imposed guidelines, a man named Nahru Khan innovates and installed a automatic sensor bell at Pashupati Nath temple in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh . Due to this devotees can ring the bell without touching it .
Nahru Khan who installed the sensor says i thought there should be a way for devotees to able to ring the bell during the pandemic without touching it, so I installed it. Devotees are very happy to ring the bell without touching it .
