A baby monkey was rescued from an electrical tower in a four-hour mammoth mission in India on June 14.

Footage shows the rescue operation after the monkey climbed on the high-tension electrical tower and got stuck on a power line.

Villagers who were passing by alerted the forest department after they noticed the monkey stuck on a high-tension wire.

The forest department along with workers from the electricity department rescued the animal.

It was later released into the forest unharmed.

A baby monkey which climbed on the electric high tension tower of 132Kva on 14th June was rescued by power department and forest department in a 4 hour rescue operation . The incident happened in Kelva police station area in Rajsamand in the state of Rajasthan .
Forest team was informed by some villagers who were passing from the area when they saw a monkey on high tension wires .
The monkey after being rescued ran towards the forest area .
