87-year-old Hendrika has Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia, but that doesn't mean she can't have fun when she enjoys this teacup garden with her son and grandchildren in Forresters Beach, Australia on Tuesday (June 16).

"She felt empty inside and inviting mom to help build the teacup garden was a heart-melting moment of tenderness," said Jason.

When 87 year old Hendrika van Genderen turned to her son and expressed an 'empty' feeling inside... Jason knew he needed to find something to top-up her spirits in a significant way. His mother Hendrika lives with both Alzheimer's disease as well as Vascular Dementia, Jason and his wife Megan care for her full time in their home in Forresters Beach, Australia.

With Jason's 14 yo son Levi capturing the moment on his iPhone - Jason sets about inviting his mom to help build a tea cup garden with him, unfolding into a heart-melting moment of tenderness.
