In Minsk a perfect storm: hail, heavy rain and strong wind gusts of which in some places even take down the trees. Despite this, Belarusians continue to mass out in the city center to legal pickets to collect signatures for potential presidential candidates. The pickets were organized specifically to Express solidarity with people who were subjected to repression against the background of the upcoming elections. The pickets form a chain that stretches between two metro stations – Yakub Kolas and Victory Square. So the participants of the action want to show how many people are not indifferent in Belarus. The queue is patrolled by a police squad. Passing cars honk their horns.
