Cobra injured in dog attack rescued by fire officials in India
Fire department officials in south India rescued a cobra left injured after a dog attack.
The incident took place at Srinivasan Nagar of Madhavaram in Chennai, Tamil Nadu state on June 18.
Reportedly a woman identified as Kavirasi Seeraalan spotted the snake curled up on the road after a pack of stray dogs attacked the reptile, leaving visible bite marks on its skin.
The lady chased the dogs away and alerted fire department officials who rushed to the spot to rescue the reptile.
The video shows a firefighter holding the injured snake by its tail and transferring it into a bag.
The cobra was taken to a nearby medical facility for further treatment.
