This video shows workers in Vietnam using old tires to avoid damaging a road when moving a crawler excavator.

According to one of the workers, mobile cranes are usually used to transport crawler excavators but roads in Yen Bai, Vietnam are too narrow so the workers came up with this ingenious idea to preserve the roads.

According to the worker, the excavators running on the chain when moving need the crane truck.
With small roads, cranes cannot enter. So they devised ways to use old tires to move the excavator without damaging the road.
According to the worker, this way takes a lot of time but can protect the road and the excavator can move in many different spaces.
