Members of the Indian National Congress party in Kolkata pretended to hang an impersonator of Chinese president Xi Jinping during a protest against the killing of 20 Indian soldiers.

Clashes erupted last week between Chinese and Indian soldiers on the border in Ladakh's Galwan Valley.

China has not officially released details of their casualties.

Congress workers in Kolkata staged a protest against the killing of 20 Indian soldiers in Ladakh. A man dressed as Xi Ping was hanged in the protest. The protestors shouted slogans against China and called for a boycott of Chinese products.

Chinese flags and effigies of China’s President Xi Jinping were also burnt at places.

Anti-China protests erupted in various parts of West Bengal against the killing of 20 Indian soldiers, including two from the state, in a clash with Chinese troops in Ladakh's Galwan Valley.

In different parts of the county, several anti-China people have taken place with several people coming out to the streets to protest against the Chinese troops.
