Bird gets head stuck in fence
While visiting my cousins in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, my son came running inside and excitedly told me about a magpie (Black and White Australian Bird)trapped in the children's playground.
Silly me gave my phone to one of the kids to film it and as you can see from the footage they didn't do a very good job filming it! Although they filmed the poor magpie stuck, they failed to properly film the rescue.
We don't how the magpie got stuck, but without help it would have died.
To rescue it one of the kids slid the magpie upwards where it was able to fly away unharmed.
I was upset that they did not film the rescue properly.
