These tourists reactions to sharks make you wonder why they ever went on cage dives.

The clips, filmed off Mossel Bay in South Africa between October 2018 and September 2019, show a series of tourists screaming as sharks lunge towards their cages while feeding.

"We have seen all the reactions on our boat but this takes the cake. The excitement makes these grown me scream like little girls!" filmer Elton Polly says.

In this compilation, one boat worker has an awfully close call with a shark when it lunged for some food. In a clip filmed on November 10, the shark is seen jumping out of the water while almost clipping the bait handler's leg as he lunges. The man in the video can be heard saying: “I thought she was coming for me, bro!” to Polly.

“Close encounters happen often but that doesn’t mean they are any less exciting,” says Polly.
