Eyewitness claims Tennessee State Troopers 'tore down' medical tents during protest
An eyewitness at a protest in Nashville claims that Tennessee State Troopers dismantled and tore down medical tents that were designated for protesters and the local homeless community.
Footage captured by Beck Weard on June 23 shows a large group of police officers taking down certain apparatus in the distance and loading it into a truck.
Weard explained: "State Troopers tore down medical tents holding food and medical supplies for protesters and local homeless people.
"They said the amount[sic] of items exceeded what was allowed in the space and began throwing both personal and donated items into an unmarked box truck without telling us where it was going.
"Some items were recovered, but several people lost the bags that held everything they owned."
