Peaceful protesters are gathered at the Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington D.C. on Wednesday (June 24), despite fencing a line of guards placed at Lafayette Square. They support the Black Lives Matter movement against racism and police brutality.

"I showed up a few minutes before [this] started and protestors were upfront with a few seeming to plead their case [to] why they had every right to move past the barricade [to get] closer to the White House, " the filmer, Zachary Trowbridge said.

"Eventually, a superior officer whispered in the officer's ears and then they slowly filed out without saying anything to the crowd, and we proceeded to walk forward to the gate around the White House. Then a drumline showed up."

"This is right in the middle of Black Lives Matter Plaza directly in front of the White House. After the protests and action this past weekend, they moved the barricades in front of the White House all the way into Black Lives Matter Plaza and had police blocking it. I showed up a few minutes before this clips started and protestors were up front, with a few seeming to plead their case why they had every right to move past the barricade closer to the White House.
