Many people are trying to return to that childhood by flying kites in their leisure time. The horror of Corona has changed the landscape of Bangladesh. People who have been running with the times are now under house arrest. All educational institutions including schools and colleges are closed to stay safe. All outdoor sports closed with that. Every cloudless afternoon in the honeymoon, people of all ages spend their time flying kites in the villages of the upazila as a tradition and entertainment of rural Bengal. This tradition of Bengali kite flying is a unique food of entertainment every day. The locals as well as the teenagers are engrossed in the colors.
Kite Flying and Healthy Entertainment With the advent of modern technology, kite flying is almost non-existent. The tendency of flying kites on the roof of the house has decreased in the busy life of the citizens. But at this time of the year, every afternoon the teenagers get involved in the colorful festival of kite flying. Their exuberant minds also seem to fly with each kite.
From children to teenagers, people of different ages and professions are seen flying different species of kites together in open fields, beels, lakes or on the roofs of houses.
Starting from Tangail city, almost all the upazilas of the district can be seen in different rural areas, as if in the afternoon kite fair is going on in the open sky. Different types of kites of different colors are flying in the sky keeping pace with the wind.
