A doctor in Cao Bang, Vietnam removed three 10 centimetre long worms from a woman's eyes.

According to Doctor Loi, the patient said she felt an itchy pain in her eyes and after examination, the three parasitic worms were found.

Dr Loi carefully removed the worms one by one in the intricate process caught on camera.

As the woman lives high up in the mountains and bathes in natural springs, the doctor advised bathing in clean water.

According to the doctor, Dr. Loi said that the woman went to her clinic and said she had itchy eyes and felt pain in her eyes.
After examination, the doctor discovered the parasitic worms in the woman's eyes. The worms clung to the iris of the eye and made the woman's eyes hurt.
The doctor quickly removed the worms from the woman's eyes. The worms are nearly 10cm long.
The woman lives in high mountains. She often bathes and drinks spring water. This could be the reason for the parasitic worms in her eyes.
The doctor advised the woman to refrain from drinking spring water and bathing in clean water to avoid having worms in the water.
