Extremely strong winds blew away the roof over a primary school in northern India’s Himachal Pradesh.

The incident took place in Rajkiya Central Primary School of Salooni, Chamba district on June 19.

Footage shows the rooftop can be seen being blown away, damaging the rooms underneath.

Several papers and textbooks were marred as a result of the unpleasant incident.

According to officials, no injuries were reported due to the school being closed during the coronavirus crisis.

In visuals, the rooftop can be seen being blown away, damaging the rooms underneath with the roofs of adjacent rooms as well.

Several papers and textbooks were marred as a result of the unpleasant incident but according to officials, since the incident occurred between the lockdown period owing to the novel coronavirus crisis, the school had been closed down and no casualties were reported.
