Night vision filming of a bright meteor and smoke trail passing near the Pleiades cluster during the Geminids meteor shower on 13/14 December 2017.
For this catch, I was lucky enough to have both cameras wide awake and pointing in the right direction at the time.
At first I thought the bright meteor had damaged the NV tube until I realised it was it's trail drifting across the view screen.
The trail was not visible to the naked eye but easily seen on the camera screen and was still visible ten minutes after the meteor burn up.
