Clumsy bee crash-lands on entrance to hive
A clumsy bee misjudged its landing and crashed into the entrance to its hive.
Bee-keeper Heather Poindexter was tending to the colony when she filmed the insect as it tried to fly in but whacked its head on a the wooden entrance on April 22 in Virginia, United States.
Heather said: "I caught this little gem today. These little creatures are fun to observe, they all have different personalities despite belonging to a single hive."
The bee enthusiast added that the creature appeared fine even after the failed landing and was able to get into the house.
