Firefighters rescued a dog that fell into an agricultural well and struggled without food for ten days.

The female dog, who wandered around the village, slipped into a 70-foot agricultural well owned by Prakash, who lives on Pillayar Temple Street in the village of Golanthangal next to Chengam, southern India.

Firefighters safely retrieved the dog by lowering an officer into the well using the rope and lifting the animal out.

A female dog, who wandered around the village, slipped into a 70-foot agricultural well owned by Prakash, who lives on Pillayar Temple Street in Golanthangal village next to Chengam. Firefighters safely retrieved the dog who had been living in the well for more than 10 days without knowing how to recover.

The villagers thanked the firefighters and rescue workers who had rescued and rehabilitated the dog who had fallen into an agricultural well for more than 10 days.
