Descend down some steps into a submerged well room and 15 mt deep water well

After discovering a flooded well room leading to a well shaft, we were able to return to the location with more gear enabling us to drop a camera down the shaft and reach the bottom.
The well still contained lead and iron pipes. Pipe support timbers and maintenance platform timbers.
4 Sets of oak rings used in the original construction of the well were clearly visible.
The lead pipe showed wiped joints and the surplus lead collars were still in place.
There were 3 horseshoe drain ends entering the shaft quite some way down.
The bottom of the well was found to be about 15 mts deep and completely submerged under 14mts of water.
The well room contained a number of timbers stored next to the steps. These were probably used to cover the well shaft when it was in use.
Not much is known about the age or history of this well.
The video shows the descent and a slow return to surface to have a good look around.
