An aggressive seagull launched a persistent attack on a man in Blackpool, northwest UK as he entered his workplace.

The footage filmed on July 3 shows the bird squawking as it consistently swooped close to the worker's head.

The filmer told Newsflare: "This seagull is causing me problems every day when I go to work. As soon as I get out of my car it comes and attacks me, it even knows my vehicle and bombs that with bird droppings. It has come to a point that I find it hard to clock in for work, I just wish people wouldn’t feed the gulls.

"I am the one filming and that's my workmate John. It has a nest on the roof and every time you go near it attacks you."
