Motorists were left stranded in their vehicles on Monday (July 6) after a burst pipe caused flooding on the A406 North Circular Road in Brent Cross, London.

Eight motorists had to be rescued by firefighters.

The road remained closed on Tuesday (July 7).

Flood must have occurred from a burst pipe and left multiple cars stuck in the rising water, the roads all quickly became sealed off as the police hurried to cut off the perimeter. This caused a lot of traffic on the routes the remained open and led to a car crash.
