Video footage captures the moment a snake was spotted moving beneath a motorbike seat before retreating into woods beside the city of Virar, in western India on July 6.

The incident took place in Virar on July 6.

According to reports, the reptile was spotted by another bike rider behind the snake ridden Royal Enfield.

In visuals, the rider can be seen parking his bike in the middle of the busy road- understandably after being informed- and checking out the vehicle. As cars honk at him, he parks the vehicle on one side of the road and uses a stick to prod at the reptile, forcing the snake to slither out.

The small snake quickly moves towards the roadside bushes.
