An Indian Rock Python Cub Rescued in Southern India
The Honorary wildlife rescuer Rajesh Kumar received at call for snake protection from the KSRTC bus station at around 11pm. immediately after seeing the place it was an Indian Rock Python Cub. The depot manager the driver was informed that he had received more information the bus is on its way to Bangalore after the lockdown is over. We have informed the matter to the DCF who is an officer on us. Speaking to DCF officials in Mangalore as soon as the snake is a Schedule 1 animal under the Wildlife Conservation Act, The wildlife conservationists went to Mangalore, about 350km away, with the snake cub as soon as they got all the legal permission and released the cub in to Natural Habitat.
