After three months of being closed due to a pandemic, today March 13, 2020, a new school year in Indonesia begins.
Because it is still in the corona pandemic, only 104 City Districts that have green zones, are allowed to reopen schools, or implement face-to-face teaching and learning systems.
In the Province of West Sumatra, there are four regions included in the green zone. The area is the City of Pariaman, Sawahlunto, West Pasaman Regency and South Pesisir Regency.
In Kota Pariaman, schools have been opened for Elementary Schools (SD), Junior High Schools (SMP) and Senior High Schools (SMA), while in West Pasaman Regency only temporarily opened for SMP.
Because the start of the school is still in a pandemic, covid health protocol 19 is still strictly implemented. Every student and teacher who comes to school must have a body temperature measured, wash their hands with soap, use a mask and distance the school room.
By determining the distance in the classroom, the number of students is also divided into two groups or the number of classes is increased.
For Kota Pariaman, besides applying face-to-face, an offline system is also being applied.
