Due to COVID-19 regulations, Thailand's Bangkok Airport has not be operating any international flights but an announcement from Austrian Airlines Monday (July 13) indicated that they will resume flights to Vienna starting next week.

Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport is not operating international flights due to Covid 19 regulations. Domestic flights are allowed provided passengers wear face masks. Travel numbers are low and terminal services have been reduced. Staff of Thai International which is affected by bankruptcy can be seen working at a Thai Smile check-in. Tourism has been decimated by restrictions, many hotels closed. The Thai government is cautiously considering allowing international tourists but conditions may make many decide not to come. According to the Ministry of Tourism, June recorded no international tourists for the third straight month.
